Agriculture in India is being considered as a way of life rather than a business. Traditionally agriculture is expected to give livelihood to the family and not high profits. Green House technology got impetus due to the need mentioned earlier. During the last 2-3 years fully automated green house technology and cultivation has come into vogue. There are different vendors of green houses with different designs, each offering a distinct advantage and some disadvantages also. There is a need to identify suitable technology, proper costing and project size for viability. We have green house vendors like M/s Cravo Equipments from Canada providing retractable, cooling, tropical green houses with State of Art technology. This design saves energy to a great extent and more robust with low replacement cost. There are other vendors from Israel, Netherlands and China also which are slightly expensive in operation cost like power and replacement aspects. Then we have to choose the automation which provided by vendors like M/s Priva, M/s IGrow and there are also a few Indian vendors. The international vendor provide complete solution covering environmental control like temperature, humidity carbon dioxide, sunlight etc., apart from fertigation solutions. Indian vendors are covering only fertigation solutions.  There are green houses for Nursery purposes also.
